Andrea Kersten as Jane
Acting in the role of Jane hits close to home for Andrea, who is currently embarking on what she hopes to be a long career in mental health services and psychology. Her start in theatre began by portraying nearly every young blonde fairy tale character on stage (Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, and Goldilocks), Andrea occasionally decides to act her age in roles such as “Emily” in The Meatgrinder and “Lilly” in Final Rewrite (both with Genesis Productions), “Shelby” in Steel Magnolias (Theatre One), “Emily” in Our Town (West Campus), and “Annie Sullivan” in The Miracle Worker (West Campus). She is a regular in the Sacramento Area Theatre scene and has received two Elly Awards for her work. She recently made the jump to film and can be seen in local films such as Breaking News and Plans, in addition to working as a background actor in the Netflix Original Show 13 Reasons Why.
Colin Coate as Eli
Colin first discovered he wasn't properly vaccinated against the theater bug in high school when he got into his first show on a whim to impress a girl. He didn't get the girl but the infection became a disease and he has been treading the boards ever sense. Some of his favorite roles include: “Allen” in Play it Again Sam, “Max” in Lend me a Tenor, “Eddy” in Blood Brothers, “Billy” in The Cripple of Inishmaan, “Horton” in Seussical, “Sister Robert Anne” in Nunsense A-Men and “Romeo” in Romeo and Juliette. Colin would like to thank everyone who has been a part of this production (and assign equal blame) for catering to his affliction. Unless someone comes up with a cure soon he fully anticipates being on stage for many years to come.
“I been with strangers all day and they treated me like family. I come in here to family and you treat me like a stranger.”
